Cross Campus Advising assists students with academic advising, changing or exploring majors, seeking connection within a college, or needing assistance navigating administrative procedures at the university. This service is available to all undergraduate students from any major. Cross Campus Advising provides a confidential place to share thoughts, concerns as well as provide resources and referrals.
Students who make personal contacts with supportive staff, students, and faculty can develop a sense of security and belonging that will serve as a foundation for the remainder of their educational career at NMSU.
How would you like to be advised?
Cross Campus Advising offers several different options for setting up advising appointments. Students can make an appointment or walk-in during normal business hours. Students can also make an appointment to meet with the CCA advisor Tuesday or Thursday from 5:00pm-6:00pm if students need to meet after work or school. Students at a distance can also set up a Skype advising appointment if you are not able to make it in person.
