About the Program

Aggie Jumpstart is a free summer bridge program designed to help incoming NMSU students build confidence, strengthen math skills, and start college on the right foot. Whether you’re commuting or living on campus, Jumpstart provides structured academic support, mentoring, and hands-on guidance to help you successfully transition into your first semester. The program is offered in two sessions:

Aggie Jumpstart I, a commuter program running June 8–29, 2026

Aggie Jumpstart II, a residential or commuter experience running July 19–August 10, 2026

  • Daily math support to build readiness and confidence.
  • Mentoring and guidance to help you navigate your first year.
  • Success workshops focused on study skills and habits.

Who Can Participate?

Incoming Fall 2026 NMSU students from any major who want a strong start in college.

Eligibility and Requirements

Please ensure that you meet the program requirements outlined below.

  • MUST place into CCDM 114 to be eligible.
  • FREE Program – all we require is your complete commitment to success.
  • Apply for Summer 2026.

All students will have the opportunity to increase their math placement for Fall 2026.
